Firstly can i just say a VERY big thank you to Gary, Sarah and the Kids for putting up with us for a whole week (especially for putting up with Shane) We arrived on June the 17th for a week where we where met by Gary our guide and host for the forthcoming week. This would be the first time the any of us had actually been to Spain to fish for the cats and carp but we where all eager and ready for the action.Our plan which we had discussed with all my party and Gary before we arrived ( Phil , Shane, and me John) was to have 4 days at the Cats and 2 days at the carp.  Accommodation was spot on everything you needed even a BBQ and the free welcome pack with beer and wine and all sorts of stuff was a bonus. During the stay both Gary and Sarah would happily take you to the shops or Town and pick you up but to be honest its only a five minute walk. During our stay we took a day out and Gary and sarah drive us to the beach for a swim and a beer.  The fishing  Gary took us all through the safety stuff with the boat and then onto fishing gear, rigs etc that we would be using during our fishing trips. Nice that he took the time to explain how his rigs and tackle worked especially for purely coarse fishing guys like ourselves. We managed to boat four cats during the four day period with the Biggest weighing 130Lb which was caught by Phil (jammy git) and lost count of the runs we had on the cat rods . Had plenty of carp out on the last two days but once again jammy git Phil had the biggest at 28lb. We did have a little £1 sweep stake on the last two days for the biggest Carp and asked Gary to chuck a rod in and join in the action. Have a guess what ................Gary won ( jammy git ).Just to let you know Gary polish that £1 up for next year mate because its going back home with me ha ha ha ha  All in All it was a unforgettable experience that i will be repeating next year with Gary again (just to get that £1 back if nothing else)  Many, Many , Many Thanks again John, Shane, Phil John.Manton@avon.com ************************** We highly recommend fishing with Gary, he works hard for you to catch, we had a fantastic time on our weeks fishing trip with him catching new pb, from picking us up at the airport to taking us back he and his wife Sarah made you feel welcome, the accommodation is good and the shower and toilet block is spotless, we have been to the Ebro before with another guide but the service you get with Gary is fantastic, we have already booked another trip with him in 2007. luke and pau ****************** We had great time fishing on the river Ebro with catalunya fishing adventures, Gary Chalk was our guide, we booked a short fishing trip with him, on our first day out we launched in amposta and went down river, within an hour of cat fishing for my very first time i was in to a large fish, it weighed in at 72lb my biggest fish ever, we had 3 great days in may catching cats to 123lb, mark & cloe from manchester markncloe@yahoo.co.uk ****************************** this was our first trip to the ebro, 4 nights and 3 days catfishing, none of us had been catting before and what a great time we had catching cats over 100lb, gary is a great bloke, showing us how to catch these awsome fish from the rigs he uses to handling them with care, if anyone is thinking of fishing on the river ebro you cant go wrong with him, every thing is included in the packages that he offers, going to come for a week next time (if the wife lets me) thanks again gary for a great time. sam, peter and matt ************************* me and my wife had a great time fishing with gary, everything was included in the price, no bloody bait snatching here, all live bait was ready for us to fish with, could not fault anything with the service and quality that they offer, thanks gary and sarah for a great time. rick and helen from surrey *********************************
